Motorcycle Accidents in Seattle WA

undefinedMotorcycle riding is common in Washington, and many residents enjoy taking their motorcycles for rides around the state on the open road. Unfortunately, these vehicles increase the risk of accidents for their riders. It is well-known that motorcyclists are at a higher risk of serious injury in a collision, and many motorists fail to keep an eye out for them, resulting in catastrophic accidents. As reported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, around 80% of motorcycle accidents result in death or serious injury, and motorcycle riders continue to be 27 times more likely to die in a crash than persons in passenger automobiles.

Every day, motorcycle riders are wounded or killed in crashes in the state of Washington, and motorcycle deaths have been increasing across the country, despite the fact that the general incidence of collisions has been down. Although motorcyclists are more prone than other road users to sustain serious injuries, most drivers fail to keep an eye out for them, resulting in fatal motorcycle crashes across the state. Contrary to common opinion, the majority of motorcycle accidents in Seattle are caused by the acts of irresponsible drivers who fail to share the road with riders in a safe manner as they should.
