About

30 Years of Legal Experience

Jim Dore, Jr. is a third-generation Washington lawyer. An aggressive litigator with more than 30 years of legal experience.

Jim founded Dore Law Group, PLLC for the purpose of representing clients who were injured and families who have lost a loved one in car accidents, slip and falls, construction accidents, semi-truck collisions, motorcycle crashes, bicycle accidents, and maritime accidents. His practice also encompasses medical malpractice, product liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases.

After graduating from Seattle University in 1988 and obtaining a Juris Doctor degree from Gonzaga Law School in 1991, Jim clerked for King County Superior Court Judges Larry Jordan and Frank Sullivan from 1992 to 1994. During that time, he worked on some of the biggest criminal trials of the 1990s.

Prior to founding Dore Law Group, PLLC, Jim was a partner with his father, Judge James Dore, Sr. (deceased), in the law firm Dore & Dore and a partner at Dore Deutscher Law Group.

Jim is an accomplished personal injury lawyer and a seasoned litigator. He has been recognized by his peers and prestigious legal organizations alike for his commitment to client service and aggressive representation. Jim was selected for inclusion in the Washington Super Lawyers® list for 2014, 2019, & 2020.

Jim Dore, Jr. on How He Helps Clients

When clients are injured, they look for an experienced personal injury attorney who is willing to work hard to prove their case. They want an attorney who can take on the insurance companies and their teams of lawyers, and who will go to whatever lengths are necessary to prove their case.

They want an attorney who hopefully will be able to get them a fair settlement quickly but, if this is not possible, they want an attorney who can do an outstanding job in proving their case at trial.

I understand. I—and my firm—take great pride in offering these services to our clients.

Importantly, I also know that a critical part of representing clients is the trust that clients place in our hands with their matters. If they have been injured, or if a loved one has been killed, they want an attorney whom they can trust, and who will be there for them whenever they are needed.

Every client and every case is unique; it’s important to build a strong bond with clients so that we can better make their case, and we can guide them carefully through the legal process in attempting to secure fair compensation based upon their damages and their particular circumstances.
