Seattle, WA - Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 4th Avenue

Seattle, WA (September 18, 2021) - A woman lost her life after being hit by an alleged drunk driver in Seattle on Wednesday, September 15.

The incident occurred at the 2400 block of 4th Avenue S. Emergency responders were notified of a crash involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle. When officials arrived, they found a woman lying on the roadway with serious injuries.

Despite paramedics attempting to revive the victim, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved was taken into custody by local authorities. The motorist was tested for alcohol consumption, but no results have been provided at this time. The identity of the deceased party has not yet been disclosed.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement.
