Covington, WA (September 17, 2021) - On Thursday, September 16, one person was killed in the aftermath of a house fire in Covington.
The incident was reported at around 4 p.m. Officials from Puget Sound Fire were called to a two-alarm fire at the 26200 block of 180th Avenue SE. While fighting the blaze, emergency responders located one victim.
The involved party was later pronounced dead. The cause of the fire has not been released at this time. The identity of the deceased victim was not provided in the initial reports.
