Lynnwood, WA (September 9, 2021) - A pileup crash in the Lynnwood area on Monday night, Monday, September 6, resulted in a fatality.
Local reports revealed that three vehicles collided at around 10:30 p.m. that night. Two 18-year-olds were driving two vehicles westbound on 164th Street SW. One of the drivers T-boned another vehicle near 25th Avenue W.
The 34-year-old woman driving the third vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old driver of a vehicle and a 17-year-old girl were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett for treatment. The 18-year-old driver of another car remained at the scene.
Speed is believed to have played a role in the accident. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
