Lynnwood, WA (May 28, 2021) - A five-vehicle collision in the Lynnwood area resulted in four people being taken to the hospital on Thursday, May 27.
The accident took place on Interstate 5 near the intersection with 44th Avenue W. at around 3:30 a.m. that morning. The site was reportedly blocking four left northbound lanes as of 5 a.m., and the roadway was not reopened until over three hours later. First responders were present to render aid to the injured parties.
Two victims were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in serious condition. Two others were hospitalized at Swedish Medical Center. Local authorities reported that the driver responsible for the accident was driving erratically.
