Deadly Pedestrian Crashes in Seattle
When traveling on foot, there is little protection in the event of a traffic accident. Many Seattle residents choose to walk as a way of transportation, leaving many in the city vulnerable to suffering life-threatening injuries. A pedestrian was killed somewhere in the United States roughly every 88 minutes on average, and statistics show that walkers are nearly 1.5 times more likely to be killed in a motor vehicle collision.
