Port Angeles, WA - Teen Injured in Bicycle Accident at US-101 & Blue Mountain Rd

Port Angeles, WA (June 21, 2021) - A 14-year-old girl in Port Angeles was seriously injured after being struck while riding her bike on Saturday, June 19.

The collision took place on US-101 near the intersection with Blue Mountain Road. Local authorities were called to the scene at around 1:30 p.m. that afternoon. The girl was traveling at the roadway crossing when she was hit by an eastbound Honda Civic.

The injured cyclist was transported by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Neither the 18-year-old Seabeck woman nor her passengers were injured in the crash. The driver reportedly pulled over immediately following the accident and contacted local authorities.
