Drunk Driving Accidents in Tacoma WA

undefinedGetting behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is never appropriate. Despite this, drunk drivers remain a significant problem on Seattle's roadways, with inebriated drivers responsible for a significant number of fatalities each year. An inebriated driver is unable to retain control of his or her vehicle or respond effectively to road hazards, increasing the risk of a serious collision. Contrary to common opinion, drinking and driving continues to be a major public safety problem in Washington. In the United States, one person is murdered by a drunk driver every 52 minutes, resulting in roughly 28 deaths each day.

Most automobile accident victims struggle to grasp their rights in time to defend themselves after a collision, and the moments immediately following a collision are important in determining whether or not your compensation claim will be successful. Most crash victims are unaware of state regulations, insurance coverage, or what to do if they are injured in a car accident, which can be a stumbling block when filing a personal injury claim. You are not required to pursue a personal injury claim on your own, and speaking with an experienced attorney can help you recover lost funds. A Seattle personal injury attorney can help you file a claim and recover damages such as medical costs, lost earnings, and other losses.
