Deadly Trucking Accidents in Seattle

undefinedEvery 15 seconds, someone is killed or seriously injured in a tractor-trailer or semi-truck collision. In the year 2019, about 67% of fatal semi-truck accidents included individuals driving their own automobiles. Over a quarter of fatal 18-wheeler incidents are thought to involve truck drivers who had been cited for speeding in the months preceding the crash.

Commercial trucks are king when it comes to freight transportation in the United States, and these large vehicles may pose a serious hazard to passengers in passenger cars. As demonstrated by national accident data on the issue, people in smaller automobiles are more likely to suffer life-threatening injuries in the event of a car collision. Every year, over 500,000 trucking accidents are reported, resulting in thousands of fatalities.
