Bothell, WA (February 20, 2021) - Two pedestrians were killed and a man was arrested following a deadly accident near Bothell on Friday, February 19.
According to local reports, two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were walking along WA-524 at the time of the fatal crash. For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck both pedestrians, causing the victims to suffer fatal injuries. The two victims were later found by a jogger at around 10 a.m. that morning.
The deceased parties were identified as a 32-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. The suspect driver, a 27-year-old Bothell man, was later found at a nearby 7-Eleven. He was taken into custody for two counts of felony hit-and-run.
No further updates on the crash have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the accident is currently underway.
