Tukwila, WA (August 26, 2021) - A massive fire at a local apartment complex in Tukwila ended in three fatalities and multiple injuries on Wednesday, August 25.
The incident occurred at the Maple Crest Apartments located on S. 65th Avenue. Firefighters and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of the blaze. Some occupants were able to escape the structure with the help of emergency crews.
At this time, the cause of the fire has not been revealed. Three people lost their lives in the fire, and four people were injured. Many others were displaced following the incident. No further updates on the fire have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
