Mountlake Terrace, WA (March 30, 2021) - Multiple vehicles were involved in a collision in the town of Mountlake Terrace on Monday, March 29, leaving one person injured.
The accident reportedly occurred near the intersection of Interstate 5 and 220th Street SW. Early that morning, one vehicle was reportedly rear-ended by another car, causing a chain-reaction accident involving three other vehicles behind it. One vehicle was reportedly wedged underneath a black Range Rover.
One of the drivers was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The four drivers in the rear were cited for following too closely. No further updates on the accident have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is underway.
