Edmonds, WA (March 26, 2021) - A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a Sounder commuter train in the town of Edmonds on Tuesday, March 23.
According to local sources, the deadly accident occurred at around 5 p.m. that evening. The pedestrian was reportedly hit near the Edmonds Station on Dayton Street. Emergency responders were called to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
The injured victim sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased pedestrian has not been revealed at this time. No further updates on the fatal pedestrian rash are currently available.
Local authorities are managing the ongoing investigation into the incident.
