Bainbridge Island, WA - Three Teen Girls Killed in Accident on Sunrise Dr

Bainbridge Island, WA (March 18, 2021) - A single-vehicle accident in Brainbridge Island resulted in the death of three teen girls on Tuesday, March 16.

Near the time of 9 p.m., emergency responders were called to the scene at the 11000 block of Sunrise Drive. Three students from Bainbridge High School were traveling southbound in the vehicle at the time of the fatal crash. For unknown reasons, the car left the roadway and struck multiple trees before overturning.

The scene was closed for several hours while investigators and medical personnel were present. All three occupants sustained fatal injuries in the collision. No further updates have been provided at this time.

An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is being handled by local authorities.
