Auburn, WA (March 11, 2021) - On Thursday, March 11, a collision involving a wrong-way driver in Auburn left two people injured.
Local sources reported that the accident occurred on WA-18 at around 3 a.m. that morning. A driver was reportedly traveling east on WA-18 WB when they collided with an oncoming vehicle near 304th Street. Both vehicles contained a single occupant and both were seriously injured.
All lanes on the highway were closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. Both drivers were hospitalized and were reportedly in serious condition. The identities of the injured parties have not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
