Apartment Fires in Pierce County Washington

undefinedAfter being involved in a structure fire, victims are at risk of suffering critical injuries due to severe burns and smoke inhalation. According to the National Fire Protection Association, an estimated 6% of reported structure fires in 2019 occurred at apartments, and these incidents contributed to nearly 10% of civilian fire fatalities and 20% of fire-related injuries that year. That year, a fire department responded to a fire roughly every 24 seconds on average.

Victims of apartment fires often find themselves struggling to learn their rights in time to protect themselves after an accident. Generally, most people do not have a complete understanding of state laws, insurance policies, or what procedures to follow after being injured in a fire.
