Tacoma, WA - Motorcyclist Dies in Collision on Lakewood Dr W

Tacoma, WA (July 29, 2021) - On Tuesday, July 27, a motorcyclist was killed after being involved in a collision with another motor vehicle in the Tacoma area.

The fatal crash occurred late that evening at around 8 p.m. near the 6800 block of Lakewood Drive W. Local reports revealed that the driver of a passenger car was attempting to make a left turn at 68th Street W. at the time of impact. It was then that the vehicle entered into the path of an oncoming motorcycle operated by a 46-year-old man.

Emergency responders were called to the scene of the accident. The site was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by attending paramedics. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed at this time.
