Lynnwood, WA - Woman Fatally Struck by Car Leaving Lot on WA-99

Lynnwood, WA (August 28, 2021) - There were reported fatalities after a pedestrian accident in Lynnwood on Friday, August 27.

The incident took place on WA-99 near 176th Street. A woman was traveling along a sidewalk on the highway that afternoon. Reports from the Lynnwood Police Department revealed that a vehicle was leaving a parking lot on the road and hit the pedestrian.

Emergency responders were sent to the scene. The area was blocked for several hours while paramedics were present. The injured party was pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel. The identity of the deceased victim has not yet been disclosed.
