Kent, WA (August 7, 2021) - On Thursday, August 5, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a train in Kent.

Local sources revealed that the fatal accident occurred at the crossing of James Street and S. 259th Street. First responders were sent to the scene that afternoon. The injured party sustained deadly injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The information available on the fatal crash is limited at this time. The area was closed for over an hour while paramedics were present. The identity of the deceased party has not been disclosed at this time.
