Fatal Drunk Driving Crashes in Lynnwood WA

undefinedIt is never okay to get behind the wheel while intoxicated. Unfortunately, drunk drivers continue to be a major issue on Seattle's roadways, with inebriated drivers accounting for a significant number of fatalities each year. An intoxicated motorist is unable to properly control a vehicle and react to roadway hazards, making them more prone to be involved in serious collisions. Despite the fact that it is illegal to drink and drive, it continues to be a persistent problem across the state of Washington. In the United States, a drunk driver kills someone about every 52 minutes, resulting in approximately 28 deaths per day from DUI collisions. Drunk drivers are responsible for an estimated 10,000 fatalities each year in the United States. In 2016, roughly a quarter of all fatal accidents in the United States involved a driver under the influence of alcohol.
