Tacoma, WA (July 14, 2021) - On Sunday afternoon, July 11, there were confirmed injuries in the aftermath of a vehicle accident in the Tacoma area.
Local reports indicated that the incident took place on WA-6 west of Pe El. Regional authorities revealed that a Tacoma man was driving a Chrysler 200 westbound on the highway when the vehicle left the roadway while rounding a curve near Elk Prairie Road. At around 2:40 p.m., the car reportedly overturned, finally coming to a rest upside down in the westbound lanes of the roadway.
The vehicle was totaled and had to be towed from the scene. Emergency responders were called to the site to provide aid to the injured parties. Both the driver and his passenger, a Tacoma woman, were transported to Willapa Harbor Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries.
An ongoing investigation into the incident is being handled by local authorities, and more details will be provided as it continues.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
