Tacoma, WA - Motorcyclist Dies in Vehicle Collision at 56th St & J St

Tacoma, WA (August 23, 2021) - A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle was reported in Tacoma on Sunday, August 22.

The deadly accident occurred near the intersection of S. 56th Street and S. J Street. A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling southbound on 56th Street as another driver was making a turn onto the roadway. The driver hit the motorcyclist while making the turn from J Street.

The 40-year-old man riding the bike suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was shut down for several hours while emergency responders were present.
