Tacoma, WA - Motorcyclist Dies in Vehicle Collision at 56th St & J St

Tacoma, WA (August 23, 2021) - A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle was reported in Tacoma on Sunday, August 22.

The deadly accident occurred near the intersection of S. 56th Street and S. J Street. A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling southbound on 56th Street as another driver was making a turn onto the roadway. The driver hit the motorcyclist while making the turn from J Street.

The 40-year-old man riding the bike suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was shut down for several hours while emergency responders were present. No other injuries have been reported at this time. The identity of the deceased victim was not included in the initial reports.
