Tacoma, WA (August 15, 2021) - A two-vehicle crash in the Tacoma area ended in a fatality on Saturday morning, August 14.
Local reports revealed that the deadly accident involved an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck. The crash site was located near the intersection of WA-509 and Alexander Avenue E. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
The driver of the pickup sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. The identity of the deceased victim has not been revealed at this time.
