Issaquah, WA - Two Workers Injured After Crane Collapses

Issaquah, WA (September 2, 2021) - There were confirmed injuries after a crane collapsed at a residence in Issaquah on Tuesday, August 31.

The incident occurred as two workers were performing a tree removal. The company involved in the project was Eastside Tree Works. A crane was necessary to remove the tree, which was cut into several pieces.

One worker was reportedly in a harness cutting the tree. The other worker was operating the crane. The crane collapsed in the process. The worker in the harness fell almost two stories or roughly 20 feet. The other worker was also injured. Both were taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The family was reportedly inside the home at the time of the incident.
