Tumwater, WA (May 23, 2021) - A motor vehicle collision on Friday, May 21, in the Tumwater area left a pedestrian with critical injuries.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred at the on-ramp from Trosper Road SW to Interstate 5 NB. A pedestrian was reportedly hit by a motor vehicle, and first responders were dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the injured party.
The wounded victim was provided aid by EMTs and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The ramp was temporarily blocked while emergency responders were present.
