Seattle, WA (March 21, 2021) - A man was killed after being hit by a train in the Seattle area on Sunday, March 21.
Emergency responders were called to the scene on Carkeek Park Road. A 25-year-old pedestrian was traveling at a railroad crossing when they were hit by an oncoming train. Despite life-saving measures from first responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased party has not been revealed at this time. The scene was closed for some time while investigators and paramedics were present. No further updates on the deadly accident are currently available.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
