Kent, WA (April 5, 2021) - There were several people injured following a single-vehicle collision in the Kent area on Sunday, April 4.
At around 3 a.m. that morning, a vehicle crashed into the second floor of an apartment building at the 8700 block of S. 259th Street. Six people and two dogs were traveling in the car at the time of the accident. The driver had reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it collided with the structure.
Three of the occupants sustained critical injuries in the impact. Two others were hospitalized in stable condition. One of the dogs died and another was lost for some time following the accident.
No other injuries were reported. Local authorities are managing the investigation into the cause of the accident.
