Seattle, WA - Two Injured in Apartment Fire on NW 57th St

Seattle, WA (May 14, 2021) - An apartment fire in the Seattle area left two people injured on Sunday, May 9.

The fire broke out around the time of 4:30 p.m. The scene was located at an apartment complex on NW 57th Street. Emergency responders and multiple fire engines were called to the blaze.

The fire, which started on a ground unit of the complex, was put out quickly by responding firefighters. An elderly man in a nearby unit was hospitalized due to injuries sustained in the blaze. Another involved party suffered undisclosed injuries.

The cause of the fire has not been reported. An investigation into the incident is underway.
